unfair dismissal and employment tribunal

My partner has been dismissed from work. We believe this to be unfair and have appealed but he found out today that the decision still stands.

He is going to make a claim for jsa and should be entitled to legal aid... But we don't know how to go about this.

If anyone would like to help me out I can email the case we've got so far, I'd like feedback really on whether or not its worth pursuing.

TIA

There is no legal aid for employment tribunals. The idea is that they are relatively informal so most people should be able to represent themselves.

Thank you.

Just in case, do you have a legal helpline on any insurance such as car or house? They might be able to give a hand. Also, some professional organisations have them, as do trade unions.

Also try the CAB

Good luck

No legal aid for Employment Tribunals as prh47bridge says.

Go to the CAB, they are fantastic.

Good luck with this, I know how trying that situation can be.

Unfair dismissal rights (IIRC) kick in after 12 months continuous service. Have they given him grounds?
