Pram seat (on top of a big pram) M&P Ultima

I have an M&P Ultima big pram and wondered if anyone had tried a toddler seat on top of one. You know the kind of thing, you see them on silver cross old fashioned type prams.

I find my M&P easier to push than the double buggy.

No, but I just put my 3 year old in with the baby in the ultima pram! ot in the first month but after that.

How did you position them?

I put the 3 year old at the top with her back against the hood, with the hood down so she had something extra th lean on and then she put her legs to one side - I took her shoes off! and then put the baby in what was left. My oldest thought it was great. They are really quite roomy. And she is a big girl. Then whne the baby could sit up I put a harness in and she sat at the hood end and the other one sat at the bottom. Sometimes she put her legs over the end. They are 4.5 and 21 months now and they were both in there today on the way home from the park. I have got a buggy and a buggy board but this seems to work better.

Might be trying that thanks!!

I will have a 15 month old and a newborn in October all being well... The two year old (who will be 3 in November) will be walking a lot but she doesnt mind. Its the 5 year old who is the laziest.

Bloody hell if the pram tipped over it doesn't bear thinking about, buy a sling for the baby and put the 2 year old in the seat unit and then get them all walking asap.

Can you still buy these? I had one for my first 3, but they are now 22, 20, and 17 and I had a silver cross. Worked ok for me, but never let go of pram, always worried if it would tip over (shock)

SJLTM · 02/08/2008 18:20

sorry

Yes you can still buy them, I found them on ebay. Baby dan makes them. The correct positioning of the seat means they are unlikely to tip.
