For everyday illness I mean.

I swear I'm there about once a week.
I wonder if I could book a permanent appt so save time

Todays visit was for ds4, his cradle cap disgustly manky infected so we needed some cream.

Never - apart from ds's broken wrist last month and dd's perforated ear drum 5 years ago. Touch wood. We'll be there every day over the holidays now!

Not very often. More often with first! With experience you know that there are certain things that you can ignore. Do you agree?

misscutandstick · 29/07/2008 09:24

yes i tend to agree, alyson. you can spot an ear infection or proper gammy eye that needs attention after a while (ive got 5 sons) and the other stuff just tends to go away on its own... i think i worry if i CANT hear them, moaning loudly - leave em to it!

Well, number one son does A+E far too often and always for things that aren't really his fault, but apart from the odd throat infection from ds2, the others are fine. Actually it's dd who wins the prize for the hardiest as the boys snuffle away and she just carries on despite a lot of moaning. Can't remember when I last went to the Dr for myself...and making dh go even if he's really ill is a struggle. We must be lucky or some thing though AD is definitely creeping up.
