Have seen three mentioned a few times on here, which isn't a large family, surely?

When I had 3, 4 seemed large. Now 4 is normal and hubby is trying to sneak off to the man vet. i've locked him in the scullery and chained him to our sturdiest mangle. Anyone else watching cotton wool kids? What think?

Georgiemama, move to Scotland if you haven't already, it seems to be free to go to uni there andproperty is cheaper. Nursery is full of germs, esp this awful sickness bug and nits, u could try a nanny share or an au pair. Just a thought, I have been one myself and they stay in your home with your children AND do the laundry AND help with homework, great for when kids are slightly older to save money you can then put elsewhereThe more children people have the more normal it will be.

8 here. Sometimes it seems like an enormous family and at other times I'd love more. It's not happening though...unless they find a way for DH to do the pregnancy and giving birth thing.
