I have a new boyfriend and am meeting his daughter next weekend and he will meet my son tomorrow.
How should we greet them ?
When my son’s girlfriend comes round to my house I don’t kiss or hug her as she’s not my friend and that would be too formal, she comes and goes as she pleases.
my boyfriend was talking about when he met his daughters boyfriend and he had hugged him and it was apparently a really uncomfortable moment.
so what is the right approach ? Is it best to keep a respectful distance,
