you see you've been going wrong looking at newborns anyway .. that's allowed

what you need to do to check whether you want another one is look at either:

a 2 or 3 year old mid-tantrum in a public place

or

a 16 year old bitterly disapproving of their mother breathing

Flum · 11/06/2008 13:45

Mmmm not convinced, it probably didn't smell right. I don't go cooey eyed at all over bottle fed babies but breastfed ones smell all sweet meaty and it makes me come over all funny.

Oh, don't get me wromng I would love tpo be PG again and have my own lovely teeny tiny newborn.

But

I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER CHILD EVER AGAIN

I don't believe it.

Cadmum · 11/06/2008 13:53

Go on! Have another one. PLEASE... (So that I can live vicariously through your MN posts.)

You know you want to and men are easy to persuade.

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 13:53

Congrats LTH. Onwards to a happier place then

FWIW now I'm pg with no.4 I'm wondering why I've done it (a smidge anyway)

Dh had better not chnange his mind again then, eh? I think you may be entitled to lop off his nob if he does.

ladytophamhatt · 11/06/2008 13:57

I'm nuts already tho LTH, convinced something will go wrong.

Very pleased for you

NotABanana · 11/06/2008 16:35

What do you think changed your mind LTH?

ladytophamhatt · 11/06/2008 18:54

I'm not sure really NAB, I just realised that its only a baby I want and not the child it grows into....

CarGirl · 11/06/2008 18:57

I've always found it's only baby girls that do anything for me and then only sleeping ones

ladytophamhatt · 11/06/2008 20:14

cargirl, a few months ago I couldn't have held any newborn without crying.

Its been a complete turn around.

It feels quite liberating

Hello again Lady,

I'm so pleased to read this thread. I've been wondering how you are.

I flit between "They are so lovely... ooh I recon one more couldn't hurt" to "Defo no more, I must've been mad thinking we could"

Sigh! I'm hoping the longer I put it off less broody I get.

Needless to say DH is no help with his little broody comments. I must be strong!

ladytophamhatt · 22/06/2008 20:21

Hi Bumface, I've only just seen your post.

I'm still cured....I have another thread going ATM about getting rid of all the ababy stuff and how liberating it is.

I've kept the 1st little jumper I put on DS4 and I was looking at it today and I didn't get misty eyed at all.

its a miracle
