If you have the car and the money, is 3 still much harder than 2?

I’m just curious! I find it unlikely we’ll get there but a girl can dream.

No.

I found dc3 slotted right in. I was a much more relaxed parent by then and enjoyed parenting a lot more.

But I guess a lot also depends on their personalities, how well they sleep, what work you do, what your commute is like, how well you work as a team, and so on.

I was going to say a lot depends on their personalities too. My 3rd is a sweet angel who likes to suck her thumb, her brother would scream and cry and it doesnt bother her. My 2nd is the one who is like a baby, wants me to do everything for him but some days it's "I will do it myself". It's definitely fun having the 3 of them.

I found 1-2 easier than 2-3 but the logistics of keeping up with three children in three different settings, three lots of social lives, three lots of school work, etc is hard.

Also don’t forget that when you only had one child, the parent who had one child had the harder deal. Now, that’ll be the easiest deal, as the other one would have 2.

but yes, a lot more joy and fun and smiles and squabbling than two.

my life would be immeasurably easier if I had local family support who would take one, two or all of the children at times, even if just to the park to get things done in the home, never mind babysitting.
