If you have 3 girls and a boy

We have 3 girls and TTC 4th child. We've always wanted 4 there was no question about going again and we'd both be happy with either boy or girl and I'm excited day dreaming about either.
But I'm getting niggles and worrying about our family dynamic adding a boy in.
If you have this combination does your boy get left out? Do they still gel and bond?
We've put lots of effort into our little girl gang and their bond. I can see a girl just slotting right in.
Maybe it's fear of the unknown!

i have 3 girls and a boy, maybe its a little different because he is the 2nd child, but he gets on well with the girls. i think with having the boy the youngest he would be the 'baby' of the family anyway so the girls will love to look after him whilst he is young enough x

I’ve got three boys and a girl. She is second so holds her own and doesn’t let them get away with anything. All grown now. You’ll be fine.

I have 3 girls and a boy, they all love him and he gets on very well with all of them. The youngest girl and he play together all the time.

I have 3 girls (13y,10y, 10m)1 boy (7y).. even though hes not the youngest hes the baby of the family, the girls adore him and cant do no wrong 😂 youll be fine, and congratulations btw! 😊

I'm the oldest of 4 - 3 girls and then a boy. We have a slightly bigger age gap to DB (2 years, 2 years and then 3 and a bit years). The bigger age gap had more of an impact on us not playing as much with him as a gang than him being a boy. What would your age gap be? However, he did play with my youngest sister when us older two moved towards the teenage years and stopped playing in the same way. I think the opposite gender helped the family dynamics in many ways - it reduced jealousy issues / clashes, us girls all have uncomplicated relationships with DB in a way we don't with each other.

I've two girls and a boy and it is wonderful. He's best friends with out middle child. He and his sister doesn't care that he's a boy and she's a girl. He has loads of female friends at school and outside it and is just as happy kicking the football round with the lads.

He's doted on by his sisters.

Our age gaps will be 3y, 2y and hopefully just over 3y.
I struggled with the just under 2y gap and loved the 3y gap so that's the reasoning.

Our ds absolutely loves and is loved by his 3 sisters. He always plays with them no problem.

We have three girls and a boy. Ages 5, 4, 2, 8m (boy).

So can't really comment on dynamics option wise yet. They do, however, absolutely fore on him. No doubt it would be the same if he was a girl but I suspect he'll always very much be the baby of the family ☺️

Was so fed up of hearing "are you trying for a boy this time" and actually was expecting a girl - didn't find out with any of them - that I was so shocked when he was born!

It took ages to get used to saying he etc and I don't care what anyone else says, girls nappies are so much easier than boys!!

I grew up as one of 3 girls and a boy.
Only issue was it was unfair (in my eyes) as he always had a room to himself and the 3 of use shared. Even when we had an extension on the house, my older sister got it and my younger sister and I shared.
But there was never an issue with being left out or treated differently or not playing with each other. They are your siblings. End of.

I just saw your message now, sorry! my dc are 15 (girl) 12 (boy) and then 3 year old girl twins, so whilst they do play together occasionally he usually occupies himself with ps4 or football. they do still play together sometimes though and he is fantastic with the twins, has much more patience with them than his older sister x

Eldest is a boy and the other 3 girls. Different dynamic as age is much bigger (16 yr between eldest and youngest) they get on but dont play together, they all involve thrmselves with the youngest ifswim. Youll find him being thr baby will most likely mean he is smothered in a good way
