...other than ‘moving house’ , we’re working on that but we’ll be here a while and may as well enjoy it!

It’s a fairly large room and I’m pretty much going to be starting from scratch. I’m tempted by a triple bunk but I fear that could be a massive pain! Oldest is only 9 but even so I’m not sure how much mileage I’d get from a triple bunk before they got fed up.

Also, things that really didn’t work would be useful too.

What are the ages?

One of those triple bunks that go in a corner? Two beds one side and one the other?
We did two sets of bunk beds head to head. And then a bunk bed and a high sleeper for the eldest so that he had his own space underneath

4, 7 and 9. Technically the 4 year old is too young for a bunk but he’d be on the bottom and is in a mid sleeper at the moment anyway.

I was thinking of 3, all in a stack, one on top of the other. That way they can’t see each other at night and climb about, which is what they did when I put their beds too close together last time, they could get accross the room without touching the floor! I like that bed though.

My 3 girls (12, 10 & 8) have a triple bunk similar to the one in the picture and they have plenty of room for their desk and wardrobes etc. Works for us :)

Oh that’s good to know FallenAngel89

That was my thinking, more space for desks and things.

my 4, 7 and 8 year old are in a triple bunk works well, at the moment they are in a smaller room but think we will keep them in the triple bunk when we move them to the bigger bedroom so they have more floor space.
