Car for three carseats

Hi we will be having our third child and we need a bigger car. What cars would you recommend for 3 children? Our eldest is 5 so we will need to fit 3 seats, for a while. Please find me a nice looking car... I do not want a van.. 🙈🙈

So glad I found this thread, I have spent hours looking through car sites trying to find a car that will fit 3/4 car seats in. We are planning to ttc 3rd this year but I drive a focus and even now it's getting to small with a 7 and 6 year old in hbb seats. Most of the cars that would be suitable all look huge though, Any ideas?

S max here. 3 sits across the middle row, and they're not little seats either. I love love my car!

We’re literally in the process of picking up an S-max right now (just dropped DH off to get it)! Have a 5yo, 1.5yo and expecting DC3 in April. Liked the S-max as you can get 3 car seats across the middle row (so don’t have to have back row up), plus massive boot space, plus running costs lower than some others (XC90, Q7, cost a fortune apparently). I’ve heard really good things so have high hopes, haven’t driven it yet but DH says it’s lovely to drive. Hoping it’ll last us a long time!

We’ve had our S Max for 8.5 years, and it was 2.5 years old when we got it, and it’s still going strong!

Please report back FourFor! What registration year is it? I'm keen for an SMax but after having a mercedes then a Q5, DH is struggling with the idea of a car that's not a 'luxury' brand. I'm really not bothered!

Fits in most standard size cars.

If you want something elegant and affordable then Toyota Verso is the one to go for..
