All boy families and all girl families that eventually had one of the opposite gender?

Hi everyone! I apologise if this is something that's already been talked about here and it's an old topic but I was just wondering if any of you had all one gender and then went on to have the opposite. I have 5 boys age 8 and under and recently found out we are expecting again. This is my 8th pregnancy tho as I've had 2 early miscarriages in the last 12 months. I'm kind of thinking it would statistically make more sense for this baby to be a girl because all gender streaks have to come to an end eventually don't they?

I'm one of eight, only girl the rest boys... I'm number 2. Convinced if DM and Df carried on they'd EVENTUALLY get another girl ... (Maybe)

Ive had MC, DD, DD, MC, DD, MC, MC, i don't want anymore now as since the Dds have got older and i live in a 3 bed it would be an absolute nightmare having 3 dd's in one room if i had a DS. They fight like cat and dog and i just don't think it would be fair on them.

I think i might have a problem where i can't carry boys but never had any checks done. My DDs DF has 5 sisters

NDN has 5 boys. We know another family which has 4 girls then a boy & another with BBGBB. One of my friends has 6 sisters & a brother & her mother babysits a lot - she still loves babies having had 8 herself. None of the children have had more than 3.

Friend of ours who live in rural Australia had 7 boys then did gender selection for a girl. They had to go to the US for this. They took the while family! Luckily it worked for them and now they have a little girl.

For my friend, she said the fact that she lived in an all-male household in the middle of nowhere made her sometimes feel so lonely. She is quite girly and hoping that their DD grows up to share her interests, although they joke that she will probably be a tomboy with all those brothers!

I hope you haven't had all those babies just to get a girl. That would be very stupid and irresponsible wouldn't it? If this one is a boy how long are you prepared to carry on for? Hmm

BlueMoonRoses · 11/04/2015 06:13

3 boys. Then a mc. Then a girl.

Droflove · 13/04/2015 14:41

I have a friend with 9 sisters! So that was 10 girls in a row. Then came a boy.....

Threeplus1 · 15/04/2015 14:35

crossfit back up there, it's none of your business. That was totally uncalled for and just plain mean

I know a family with 6 boys then a girl and another family with 6 girls then a boy. The two mums are friends actually.
My friends mum had 13 girls and 1 boy, the youngest.

My great gran was one of 5 girls. I had g,g,mc,b,b,g,t-o-p,b,mc,b,b and am 32+4 with another g.
pot luck I guess in my case but a lot of my family have 2 the same sex followed by 2 the opposite sex.

Just had my 4th DS. Had one MC and do wonder if maybe was a girl, just felt different as soon as I was pregnant so maybe some truth that some women can only carry boys/girls.
