Just out of curiosity, wondering how many children people have in three bedroomed houses and how they are arranged

We have 5 in a 3 bed. Boy6, twin girls 5 and twin boys 2.5. I've split one bedroom into 2 as they are huge rooms and I was going to put the 3 boys together but as one is ill quite a lot I decide to split a room so the eldest has his own room then both sets of twins have their own rooms.

I currently have 3 DC's, the older 2 have their own rooms, ds3 is in with us until he's reliably sleeping though

However, DS1 needs his own room for medical reasons so if we have another child we'll end up with 3 in a little room, ds1 is his tiny box room and me and DP in our room. Hmm Squashed in other words!

We have 4 kids. DS 1 and 2, who are 6 and 4, share Tate largest room, DH and I gave the second room and our boy/girl twins, who are 2, share the third room.

It all works fine for now but we hope to convert the loft into 2. Extra bedrooms before the eldest starts secondary school.

We didntplan to have so many children in a 3 bed but dc3 turned out to be 3 and 4, and I was made redundant which has ruled out moving for the time being.

But as I say, it's fine for now.

Currently have 4/5.

DSS, DTSs share a room (they're 11, 9 and 9).
Then have the 4 and 3yos sharing a room.
Then me/DH.

However, DTS stay with their dad for one night a week, and DSS stays with his mum for two days a week.
