Feel sad that we can't afford another baby

I have one ss and one dd but cannot afford another as we have too many debts and can barely afford to live now. I love the children we have to bits and count myself as very lucky and blessed to have them. Just feel sad that I will not be experiencing another pregnancy and raising another baby. Wanted to have another baby of my own. Not sure what responses I expect, just wondering if anyone else has been in this position and how long it took you to get over it.

I am not in your position but just wanted to offer my sympathy.

We stopped after 3dc because we couldn't afford any more, then had a happy surprise 11 yrs later, which led to dc5 as company for dc4, due to the large age gap.

Are you young enough to possibly have another child of your own in future yrs when you have paid off your debts?

What do you mean by can't afford though.

There are many people who have very little money but big families.
