Yesterday I noticed that my clothes rack had fallen down. When I checked it was probably due to too much clohtes being on it. When I tried to stand it up the metal leg type pole snapped. Other bits started breaking/dropping off when I tried to straighten it

I have a tumble dryer but not too keen to try heavy stuff like towels etc in it.

The other day I got some new radiator racks. Its amazing when I measured it again my older racks they are so much samller.

May need to go to the laundrette.

What are you up too with washing etc?

If it is even remotely dry it goes out on the line if not I just tumble dry everything, we haven't had the heating on for ages and our radiators are the tiny little short ones so can't dry anything on them.

I use 2 large airers- the3 tier concertiner £35 ones (fits loads on) and i confess i sling big items, over top of inside doors (towels duvet covers blankets dressing gowns etc.). I do 2 loads a day, one just before work and one just before bed, so they are usually dried and taken off when we are up & around in our house.
Oh and rotary washing line whenever it's sunny or windy out. Rarely use tumble drier. Wish I had warm airing cupboard as that's what my mum used! The old metal boiler dried our clothes when I was small.

It's funny seeing this thread now the suns has been out for a few days. Having washed everything in the wash basket, kids floor, towels, bedding, even sleeping bags, I'm now looking for other things to make the most of the drying weather
