Anyone been anywhere on holiday in Europe that you would recommend for larger families?

Key camp holidays are really good. They are in France and Spain. And have loads to do

Would also recommend France, or Spain. France has the advantage of being closer. We drove & took ferry in a Previa ( an older, P reg - they had 8 seats then) with 6 DCs aged 2 months to 16 years. The French seem to welcome larger families. We stayed in Aquitaine, not far from Bordeaux. Lovely sandy beach at Hourtin, great food, cycling, surfing. We hired 2 apartments, but there were loads of campsites there too.

Have a look at hiring a villa, we did this when we drove to Italy. We camped all the way there so took in France, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy and did only 4 hours drives a day, the kids still go on about buying croissants in Macdonalds in Swizerland!

Greece is a big family place, we stayed here have given the trip advisor link so you can see the reviews, they are absolutely fantastic and have the BEST customer service, they will fill your apartments with beds for the kids if you need them too.
