My friend had one and hated it, there's no boot space for a decent sized pushchair she had to have a back seat down to get one in.

I have a ford galaxy and its great.

We have one but a Vxr as hubby is a petrol head. I love it. Best car I ever got. But once all the seats are up there is no boot.

NO ! dont buy one , when we had 5 DC we had one .NO boot space at all , the grand senic was the best , i could even get my phil and ted in the boot :)

I hate mine - trying to persuade dh to change it but he says it has to die first Sad. Bloody thing keeps sailing through its mots so I suppose you could say they are cheap to keep. Agree with no boot space - we had to buy a roof box to carry the double buggy.

Controversially, I love mine ... Don't usually pop the seats up in the back, therefore boot is v big and fits double buggy and shopping nicely. It's not so big that it's a bugger to park either!

I'm happy with mine, other than its quite expensive to run.

You can fit an umbrella folding buggy in the boot when all the seats are up, but tbh I used to keep on of the seats down anyway and just use 6 out of the 7.

Depends on the number of dcs. i would never, never use it with the intention of having a child in the back seats all the time. Apart from the lack of boot space with back seats up there is the risk factor, there is buggar all crumple zone with the seats up.

If you don't need the seats then it is a decent car. Based on the astra so not huge for parking, big boot with seats down and pretty cheap to run. Doesn't guzzle fuel and ours is pretty ancient now but still doing OK on services. We've replaced a fair few parts by now but still cheaper to keep it than to get a new car.

I've got a Citroen xsara Picasso been great for the 2 kids can fit pram in boot without putting it down only just putting middle seat down and still loads of room for bags etc and quite cheap. I was looking at a zafira but would only get Vxr or Sri but boot is still like a shoe box. Don't think the xsara is the nicest looking but does the job for a decent price
