If you have 4 DCs, do you live in an enormous house with loads of bedrooms?

Does anyone have 4 and live in a 3 bed semi? Is it manageable or hell? What about as they get bigger?

Thanks Smile

We have 4 in a 3 bed semi. Boys have bunks in double room. Girls have bunks in tiny box room, floor has a slope to accomodate stairwell so had to cut holes through and add extra supports in to stand one end of the bunkbeds on! They have a tiny hanging rail with their dresses on the rest of their clothes live in our room. We have managed to convert the garage into a playroom although there are a couple of leaks in the roof. It works ok for now. Once the youngest goes to school I'll be back off to work to fund a house move.

Five bed house here. Until DD3 was born we had one room each (well, obv DH and I share) and a spare. Since DD3 was born we've had an au pair to help with childcare and now have a Spanish student sharing with DD2. So we've gone from 1-2 person per room to 3 in one room (DD2 still in with us), 2 in another and no spare. 2 bathrooms.

tbh with 5 teens in the house (inc the au pair) and 5 people trying to leave at the same time in the mornings we could do with one more bathroom and one more bedroom.

We have 4 and live in a huge 5 bed. Prior to this we had them in a 3 bed semi and we are moving again in two weeks to a bog standard 4 bed.

I feel lucky as i know people with a lot larger families in less space

When we bought our house it was 3 bed but we converted the loft and changed a room downstairs to a bedroom so now 4DCs 5 bed. We added another bathroom downstairs.

4 bed 3 bath - 3 ds's in one room. Dd in own room. Keep offering ds1 to move into box room but he doesn't want to. Recently added an en-suite to boys room and they love it - it's made a huge difference to us all, more than we imagined it would

This thread has really inspired me. We only have one set of twins so I shouldn't be posting here really. We live in a four bed house with one en suite shower room and one main bathroom. You all make me feel really grateful for what I've got Smile

We have a big house and four kids. But I'm not sure it matters too much and I'd still have had four in a 3 bed semi.

I am more bothered that we have at least two loos TBH!
