so why do I suddenly feel nervous and am doubting if this is the right decision? with the others I just 'knew' it was right, 4 seems like a huge leap organisationally and financially but I feel we have a 'gap' in our family....
Guess I just want to know how you guys figured out how may to have and when (and when to stop!)

yellowstone Glad to hear that two to three was the hardest for youWink as i have three and found having the third a jump!! Getting easier now but found him my hardest baby at the beginning such a juggle.

I cant stop thinking of no4 BUT worried it could send me over the edge!

Yellowstone · 26/02/2011 21:40

It's exactly that, the juggling. Once you're past three, you can juggle...

verybusyspider · 26/02/2011 22:17

2 to 3 was the hardest jump for me - maybe we'd be ok, dh is getting fed up with my dithering though

Is your dh like mine then, would like to just decide than go for it Hmm Whereas i think about every single possibility until i go mad and also drive dh mad!

verybusyspider · 02/03/2011 20:19

well we've stopped talking about it for now, see what happens Smile
How are you doing?

threecurrantbuns · 02/03/2011 20:50

Havent talked about it overly but well all nostalgic watching 1born last night Smile

I would like to put it to the back of my mind until dc3 is two then make the final decision then, if istill feel the way i do now then i would imagine we woulds tart trying at the point, just wish i could get it out of my head until then Hmm

threecurrantbuns · 02/03/2011 20:51

*were all nostalgic &start

verybusyspider · 03/03/2011 10:56

today all I can see are reasons not to, I really am so unsure, doesn't help ds1 is having grommets tomorrow, its such a routine op but hate idea of my little baby going under general - maybe once thats out of the way I can see how I'd manage with 4!
I'd definitely stop working for a while though, not sure how that would be

OP posts:
threecurrantbuns · 03/03/2011 19:41

Aww that must be awful but im sure it will all be fine!
I am so unsure to, the only way forward i can see is to just wait until i am sure either way if that day ever comes

verybusyspider · 03/03/2011 22:29

I'm sure it will be fine, just pressure of organising whats happening with other 2 and thinking how it would be worse to do this and have another one.... but then working outside of home 4 days a week doesn't help, thank god for on line shopping at times like these Smile

I didn't realise how much the operation was playing on my mind, now its out of the way I feel ready to take on the next challenge, ds2 and 3 have been slidelined whilst I've been thinking about ds1, I need to make up for it now.
its a bit weird because we really have stopped talking about no4, dh knows I'm not doing anything to prevent it and neither is he, I know if I ask him he'll say he doesn't want 4 - its almost like if pushed he'll opt for the 'easy'/less stressful option (can't think of best word!) but can't be too fussed (I have to add I have bought the relevant protection for him to use and told him so the ball is totally in his court, he never mentions it...)

OP posts:
threecurrantbuns · 08/03/2011 14:32

Im glad the op is out of the way for you now.

Sound like maybe your dh might want no.4 but hasnt quite got the courage to 'official' go for it.

Bit like i say if i accidently fell preg i wouldnt be bothered but actually going for it is another story.

Although we were talking about it this amand vertually said we will start trying in jan Hmm Smile

only thing is we used one of our boot seat the other day and it freaked me out!! didnt look safe, and we cant afford a new car Sad I was banking on using one boot seat all the time if we had four Sad

annieapple7 · 09/03/2011 22:47

What is a boot seat?

threecurrantbuns · 10/03/2011 12:58

We have a Grand scenic which has two fold up seats in the boot space
