Do all of these 9 seater cars look vannish?

VW and Merc least so............ we needed an 8 seater and DH was aghast at the thought of a "van". We went for the Merc Viano in the end, it's the car-type version of the Vito. Test drove several others, including the VW, and they were all very van-like

What about a nine seater land rover defender - 'tis my car of choice and tres styley!

we need a 9 seater urgently....have been impressed with the vw shuttle...(looks nice & has many comfort options) but no idea how they handle.
really dont want a bus !! or a van...but not much option to choose from ..in the way of style when so many seats involved :(

currently have the Mazda 5 Satnav sport (7 seater) in charcoal grey(looks blackish) ...which I love..has reversing camera/satnav screen, which nicely pops in & out of dashboard when required, air-con, privicy windows, electric windows etc etc...and it handles & looks like a car..easy to park etc..

so sad I cant keep it :(
shame they dont do a slightly bigger version with 9 seats magically squished in like a tardis

must look at the Defender & Vito in more depth...

shame price has to play a big part in decision making too !!

I have a Fiat Scudo. It is perfect for my needs

That only has 7 seats again....going to have a look at the ducato....not sure if thats bigger ?

hubby trying to pass me off with some hideous american imports ...that look like gangster vans or something the Ateam would use !! ughh

You can get the Ducato in a car version and also the Scudo (although I think it has been discontinued so would have to be 2nd hand) in 9 seater versions.

My scudo has 9 seats and a massive boot.

.....I was being too hasty...looking at the first things google had to offer :D
will look in more depth.....are they any better than the VW shuttle or Merc traveliner ?
