Trust fund for small amount of money

I’m not even sure if trust fund is the right name!

Dd is due to receive a small amount of inheritance. It’s only about £6000. She is 15 and I don’t want her to be able to spend it until she is 18. What can I set up to do this?

JISA?

JISA is a good idea, a trust fund will have set up costs.

I will have a look at the JISA. thank you.

Totally agree with others trust fund not needed but a JISA maybe in stocks and shares a good idea

Both my kids have ones set up quite conservatively and are on around 15-20% return
Of course it's a risk but we decided worth it. It's locked until they are 18 (they are 3 & 6) with us managing it til then but we can't have the money so it's ringfenced for them
