I’m a grandparent and have opened savings accounts for my grandchildren. They are in my name and the childrens name. Does anyone know if these savings could affect their parents (my daughter) universal credit claim? Also do I have to think about anything else E.g. tax on interest for me ? I’ve tried looking it up but can’t find a clear answer. Thanks 😀
