Legit best place to sell gold

When you're ready to ask someone, look up that day's gold price and then you'll know if they are offering a fair price. You will most probably find a decent place in Hatton Garden.

You can sell to Bullion By Post, and send it to them by Royal Mail Special Delivery. It's a legit firm.

Intrigued by this post, where is the best place to BUY gold?
And these are so different, how does one compare which is 'better'?
Is it worth even investing in some of these?
Are several smaller ones better than one larger one, and are there any tax implications? (Captial gains, inheritance tax etc?)
Just asking for when I win the lottery!

AFAIK coins are exempt from CGT but not bars.
