Best credit card for benefits?

Hoping for some advice. Husband and i have always had Amex BA black cards which was great pre covid and pre kids! Since kids, we’ve sadly let some companion vouchers expire, and don’t think having two BA cards is worth it. I’m looking into one of us keeping them, and one of us getting a new one.

Which would you recommend? We won’t need another airline one and are not travelling abroad as much as we’d like! Some are good for hotel stays, but might not be worth it.

after advice on what could give us good benefits, cash back / points spent elsewhere - is the John Lewis one any good? Or views welcome on keeping both BA cards - don’t really fancy just making a flight to Edinburgh to make use of companion voucher(!) but if the alternative cards aren’t great but you reckon it’s good to keep
both for future big holidays do say!

thanks

John Lewis one changed recently and isn't aa good as it used to be. I didn't find any better benefits credit cards when I last looked. Ended up with Amex for the Avios.

Have a look on money saving expert. Let me know if you do find any good deals
