So myself and my husband have today submitted an application for a mortgage with Kensington. We are first time buyers and desperate to move into our first home as we have a 6 month old and currently rent a maisonette. It’s taken a while to get here as my husband has some adverse credit history and we finally got an AIP secured with Kensington as we fitted criteria. We found a house, had offer accepted and here we are. I’m just petrified now of the underwriting etc. It would be heartbreaking to be declined now. Our broker said Kensington are picky but think she’s covered everything they would ask questions about. What I’m after I guess is some positive stories from people that have used this lender. Thanks!
