Do you get a credit check for car insurance

Wondering if car insurance does a credit check for monthly. Thanks

Yes they do.

I know people with poor credit who pay monthly for insurance though.

Yes they do, sometimes it may increase with some companies but I would think it would be ok, just make sure you can make the payments and they’ll be happy.
