NS&I bonds, does anybody invest or know much?

How much did you invest? How much have you won?

Is it worth doing?

I've got money in bonds at the minute as I'll need it at a specific time in a few months so I didn't want to put the capital at risk. It isn't really investing as returns are calculated to average considerably below inflation.

Yeah it's more like putting your potential interest into a lottery draw. Which some people like, it's better than doing the actual lottery anyway since you still have your capital.

I had £300 invested about 8 years ago. Within about 3 years, I had 2x£25 & 1x£50 wins.
I bumped the investment up to £10,000.00. 8 months ago. Since then, I have won £25 each month except for one month I won 2x£25.
I am happy with it so far.
