Blood thinner/inhixa after egg retrieval

Could I ask if you were advised to take blood thinner after egg retrieval (on the day of)? I had mine this morning and the instruction was you can restart until you get your period but then stop. But I don't know if it was restart today or tomorrow.

Can you call the clinic to confirm? Do they have an out of hours number? Everyone is on a different protocol so I would check what they want you to do

I was given clexane after my egg retrieval but that was for OHSS risk with the intention to do a frozen transfer a few months after. I took it the next day for 5 days and then my period started. The clinic said it would start 5 days after and it did like clockwork

And did you stop it when your period arrived?

Yes took it from the day after. I stopped when period arrived and they said it would arrive in exactly 5 days, it did! Hope you got a reply xx
