I’m really sorry you’re going through this.
Have you asked your clinic what their views are on treating your endometriosis before another transfer (laparoscopy or a taking a suppressor for a few months like Lupron)? I know different doctors have different views on this but I would want to know whether they think your endometriosis is a contributing factor
I also have endometriosis and my IVF consultant (who is also an endo specialist) recommended that I have a laparoscopy before proceeding with IVF - he did both for me.
My endometriosis was stage 3 but it was easier to remove than the scans had initially suggested. I also had a hysteroscopy at the same time which didn’t identify any problems but he flushed out the womb lining with an antibiotic treatment.
I have a friend with very advanced endometriosis who was prescribed Lupron for several months before IVF. She actually saw the same surgeon as me and he recommended this as during the lap he said her endo was very vascularised and hard to remove it all. Her first transfer failed, her second was a chemical pregnancy and her third was successful. She had had unsuccessful IVF at her first clinic and was a bit shocked when their notes referenced endometriomas but they hadn’t mentioned it to her.
My own first transfer was successful but just to flag it isn’t a direct compare because I did PGT-A testing. I started my FET drugs about 6.5 months after my laparoscopy. We were looking at initial timeline of 3 months post lap based on scans but when it went well he said we have more time before it recurs.
I found the book Heal Endo by Katie Edmonds. It’s a realistic but uplifting book with over 200 medical studies referenced. I can’t know for sure but I do wonder if some of the recommended supplements in there helped my surgery go better. But I also found it helpful emotionally, it made me feel like I was doing something to help myself when I was otherwise feeling quite helpless
Wishing you all the best xxx
