On my 7th FET trying for a sibling. I normally test daily from 5dp5dt. This time I had a little spotting at 3dpt so I started at 4dp5dt - stark negative. Negative again at 5, 6, 7dpt. I'm using easy@home with fmu and squinting at it in every possible light - not my first rodeo. Definitely negative. I didn't test yesterday, couldn't take the upset anymore and knew I was out. This morning I tested again 9dp5dt- contemplating a glass of wine at dinner later - and got a super squinter. Repeated with another easy@home and a Boots early detection and both showed super faint, but definitely visible lines.

Is there any hope at all of this being a viable pregnancy?

I believe your chances are lower but there is still a chance.

Does your clinic do HCG tests? If not, I’d recommend getting the home HCG blood tests and doing them on days 12 and 14 so you can better understand if this is a chemical pregnancy or a late implantation and slow HCG rise.

The easy@home strips can stay quite faint until hcg rises quite a bit which doesn’t help.

Well it looks even fainter today so I guess it's a late implanting chemical. This is so tough.

@hollyhd when did your clinic say you should test?

hollyhd · Today 08:15

@TWWanderer Thursday, which will be 13dp5dt.

@hollyhd I would say wait till then , this could very much be a real line and a perfectly viable pregnancy.

If you're lil embryo attached slightly later your hormone levels could still be rising!

Unfortunately, I couldn't wait to test, and today the line had pretty much disappeared. So I think it must have been a late implanting chemical😞

@hollyhd I'm sorry to hear that, have you called your clinic?

Sending you hugs , this process is so draining!

hollyhd · Today 12:18

I did call the clinic but they were extremely unsympathetic. They said to test on OTD and call them with the result. They won't act on any result prior to 13dp5dt. Tbh I'm not sure what I wanted from them, there's not really anything they can do I suppose.

Thank you for the hugs though. It's a brutal process.

@hollyhd , while there is nothing they can do. A bit of sympathy goes a long way. Sometimes they are so desensitised
