IVF Pregnancy

[IVFMUM2026]

I've recently had IVF and i went for a early viability scan on 2/10 at 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. There was a yolk and sack but no fetal pole. I was told it hadnt developed past 5 weeks. Today i visited my local EPU for another scan in prep for medication to hurry along my miscarriage, however they found a fetal pole... it is measuring 6 weeks when i am currently 9 weeks. There was no heartbeat but i will be having a repeat scan next week. Has anyone had this before whilst having IVF? I'm trying to hold onto some hope 😮‍💨

I’m so sorry @IVFMUM2026. I haven’t had this but I’ve had IVF and actually had to watch a pregnancy slip away (I unexpectedly conceived between my endo surgery & embryo freezing and when I started my FET meds was pregnant without knowing). Have you updated the IVF clinic and if so what have they said? Sending you a huge hug xx

I contacted them, they apologised that i was going through such an "ordeal" i stopped cyclogest 2 weeks ago because i was told the pregnancy wasnt viable. I have actually asked them this evening if i should continue taking it because what if it is viable? I just feel so defeated. I feel awful now for stopping the cyclogest in the first place
