The Evewell, low amh

Hi all..

Im 40 (nearly 41) and suffering with secondary infertility for 3 years. I have low amh and one tube. 1st round i got 5 eggs, 2nd round i got 1 (mild stims)

I went through 2 rounds of ivf with Aria but unsuccessful. I wanted a 2nd opinion before going for round 3 (fresh rounds each time) and went to the evewell. However thier communication/admin team is AWFUL. Not sure if thats a red flag.

Anyone had any experience with them? Or recommend any other consultants/clinics?

I strongly recommend Colin Davis at The Evewell. I saw him for fertility investigations - I had also been told all was fine at Aria and by a couple of other gynaes but frustratingly I had had endometriosis that was visible even on ultrasound. Colin was the only one who spotted it. Colin did my endometriosis surgery and my IVF.

Gynaes typically lean general gynae or fertility but as Colin is both a fertility expert and a technically brilliant surgeon I feel it gives him an edge. He’s got a really kind manner too and makes you feel heard. It would have been very difficult for me to get pregnant without the surgery I had based on the location of extent of my endo.

A few of my friends have been to him too for IVF & egg freezing and all have had positive experiences. My mum is having surgery with him too in a few weeks.

I’m sorry the communication has been poor I actually found it really good. I did find that during treatment queries were dealt with faster on the phone than sending to the general email address. I would give them a call and say you want to book an appt and specifically to see Colin
