Hi folks, this is my first day of an IVF protocol at 41 y/o. My partner and I wanted to start a family sooner, but a family tragedy really threw out our plans and time doesn't stop passing. So, here we are...

I guess I'm looking for experiences and some general chat around the whole thing so I can get a sense of what to expect and/or move through this with some support from each other.

Some details that might be useful
AMH = 27.4
AFC = 19 (naturally)
No MF infertility

We're doing an antagonist freeze-all protocol with PGTA testing.

What are your stories? What was your attrition like? Is anyone in the same boat?

Curious and hopeful...

Just wanted to say good luck. You have a great AMH and FETs have slightly more success. I know it can feel daunting with age but it can and does happen - it just needs the right clinic x

Im not a first timer but also 41 and going through ivf trying to use my own eggs. So far iv done 4 cycles for another child but I dont get embryos. The closest I got was cycle 2 and a fet with a day 6 embryo but I mc at 7 weeks . Your amh is great so you could get a fair few eggs, hopefully you get some good graded embryos to transfer.
