Hello everyone, I have just turned 35 and TTC. I had an incidental finding on a transvaginal ultrasound for suspected adhesions and abdominal pain. This finding was that I only had 2 visible follicles on cycle day 1 (this was a quick scan not a full follicle/egg count scan) but I knew when he said it I was out of luck. (Period started a couple of hours later). They drew my blood for amh and unfortunately I have a very low AMH 2.13pmol/l.

I know I am so lucky to have one child but I am absolutely desperate for another. I experienced a very traumatic first birth experience and took time to recover from this and now can't help but feel everything is going against me.
The Dr said they would call to discuss options but they have not. And I've tried get them multiple times.
I've been TTC for 2 cycles and seems to be ovulating and my uterus lining on cycle day 1 was thick despite still breastfeeding. Currently 11dpo and very much a BFN. Fell pregnant without even trying the first time and didn't even know I was pregnant until my period was late for 4 days.
Any success stories would be very very welcome. Don't want to stop breastfeeding if this is going to be my only time doing it.
I don't know what to do, I am so desperately sad and feel very isolated.

Have you only been trying for just the 2 cycles? I wouldnt count yourself out just yet. As long as your ovulating each month thats the main thing. For most people ttc it can take 6 to 12 months before falling pregnant. Also it can take a little longer while still breastfeeding. For your age, ttc for 6 months is ideal but after this time its best to talk to a specialist but they may say to try a little longer or put you on a medication for a couple of rounds. Try not to stress or take it to personally in the early days as this can cause so many more stress related issues if things dont work quickly and you will wear yourself down. Try to make the journey fun along the way, a night out with your partner, a weekend away, dress up night. If after 6 months things still arnt working in your favour then dont wait any longer and talk to someone.

Heya, thank you for the kindness, I feel so upset about everything and I appreciate you being kind.

Yes just trying for the 2 cycles. I know I have the bladder adhesion but I feel like I might also have bowel adhesions too. I feel like the entire appointment was a bit rushed so I didn't get much time process/think. The gynaecologist has said he wanted to contact me to make plans. I am not sure he thinks I should wait. It's such a cluster of awful choices. But I am desperate for another wee baby. I don't think with my AMH so low it is a good idea to wait..
My peak lh was only .88 and I feel like I ovulated but with there only being 2 follicles visible if they didn't mature then I am screwed.
Thank you x

I had low AMH at 30 years old coupled with hormonal imbalance. It took me ages to have kids but we managed. 1st was natural pregnancy, second was IUI on our first try!
So while it can take a while, don't despair.
Good luck!
