Seeking success stories after a 4BC embryo transfer

Had my egg retrieval last week was able to get 7 eggs out of those 2 made it to the blastocyst stage and we will be transferring 1 embryo end of August. They are both graded as 4BC am a bit discouraged and would love to hear some success stories of transfers especially with embryos with lower ratings.

Trying for 10 years finally found a dr willing to listen to my concerns which resulted in surgery to remove both fallopian tubes in March and just feel like this process has been never ending.

I’ve heard people say the grading doesn’t matter so much as whether they are euploid or not. I know someone who had a baby girl from a first time transfer of a CC (I can’t remember the number). So fingers crossed you are ok. It’s freezable and that’s a good sign too. My friend had her son from a fresh transfer of an embryo that the clinic didn’t think was good enough to freeze

Good luck! I worked with a fertility coach and she recommended drinking beetroot juice for the TWW (starting day of transfer). There are studies that show it does make a difference: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10712821/

I couldn’t be bothered to make the whole juice but she said it’s the beetroot that’s the most active element that makes the difference

I agree with SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite. I also read that clinics can grade embryos differently.
I remember watching a webinar or reading some answers on myIVFanswers where, if I’m not mistaken, about five doctors shared their experience with low-grade embryos. Some of them wouldn’t proceed with them at all, while others would consider them under certain circumstances.
If you trust your fertility specialist, I’d try to stay positive. From what I understand, it can depend on the clinic and even on the individual specialist.Good luck!
