Transfer without birth control ?

Hi all
I’m trying to advocate to do transfer without northeristorone but I feel like they’re saying it will make scheduling so hard and trying to gas light me !!

did anyone go straight to oestrogen from day 2?

any help appreciated as I was in agony last time I took it, really feel like it would be detrimental to my endo and pain levels going into this transfer

thanks in advance lovely

Is this for FET? At my clinic northeristorone is only used if you need to induce a bleed (i.e. very irregular or non-existent cycle). I've done FETs with no northeristorone previously

Yes that’s right for FET

my cycle is like clockwork

was the worst pain I’ve ever felt so reluctant to do it but feel like they’re insisting or saying it will be so hard for them it could fall through

My clinic doesn’t use it (I just started oestrogen on day 2) but one of their marketing points is they can always fit you in, no waiting lists. Your clinic sounds like it relies on northeristorone to manage their scheduling of patients / for their own administrative reasons. It’s not a you problem it’s a them problem.

I think if it caused you a huge amount of pain it is completely reasonable to decline it and ask what they do in situations where patients have an adverse reaction to it, as you have had. You can’t be the first one. Surely they can make exceptions for individual cases

Then totally agree with SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite that you should be saying no, you wont be taking the northeristorone. It seems pointless in your situation as you don't bleed on a garatunteed day with northeristorone either!

Thanks love I am putting my foot down
They are like well if it’s from your period the cycle is likely to fall through ! We won’t have space

If you're private you could always look at other clinics (though I know thats not as easy with moving embryos etc).

After waiting nearly 17 months I can’t afford anymore delays or costs !!
