I'm 5dp5dt. Had my trigger 12 days ago this evening. I'm assuming it should be gone by now but I had a line on a 10iu test this evening. Could be start of a bfp or just residual trigger. I'm a bit annoyed with myself I'm in this situation. I should know better. And I know the only way I'll really know is just wait and test again but misery loves company and all that so posting here ❤️ My last round yielded two embryos both of poor quality and one resulted in a chemical. This round was much better numbers and I transferred two 4aa embryos. I think I'm equally terrified of either outcome and I'm also very aware of my age this time. Pic below if anyone has any opinions

I am exactly where you are! Usually my trigger goes by day 9 and then it went positive for my MMC or just negative when it didn’t work.

This time it’s just stayed the same, possibly slightly darker. Too scared to believe it could be a positive.

It would surely be unusual to be still in our bodies at 12 days would it? I've never tested out my trigger so I'm not sure how long it would last. When I had my chemical I also got my positive at 5dp5dt but that was a frozen transfer so no trigger to confuse things. I'm not sure I can test again tomorrow. I'm nervous of the next test being negative. When is your official test day?

OTD is Tuesday the 23rd. Yours?

1986kid · 19/06/2026 10:40

Not until the 27th. I'm not sure why my clinic is so reserved with test dates. Was your transfer on Saturday just gone?

Yes it was. They tell us to check 10 days after

1986kid · 19/06/2026 11:35

Yours seems to make more sense to be fair. Its equivalent of 15 dpo. When I did IUI they told me not to test until 18 days after. Maybe they know everyone is going to test early anyway, just trying to keep us at bay for as long as possible. I took another test this am and it just looks identical to last night's test, suppose there was only 12 hours between them. Have you done another test?

I have, seems darker. My trigger never went so reassuring if it stays the same as may be baby adding their own HCG 🥰

1986kid · 19/06/2026 12:25

Well hopefully that is the case. From what I'm reading the implanted embryo starts to produce HCG from around day 6ish onwards so hopefully we're both catching the start of that 🤞

Keep me posted. How lovely to have someone to share this with 🥰

Ok I dont know if I'm driving myself crazy. I got 1-2 weeks on a digital test on my second wee of the day today. When I had my chemical the weeks indicator test never picked up a positive result. Only the early detection digital did. I'm taking this as a good sign. Absolutely still early days but I'm hopeful that 14 days post trigger that this might be heading in the right direction 🤞🤞

Eeeeekkkkkk. Exciting!! I had a mini meltdown this morning as feel line should be darker. It’s so scary, isn’t it

1986kid · 20/06/2026 13:56

I felt like that too yesterday. So this morning I decided I'd do the digital and either way I wouldn't spend today staring at the lines
