Hi there currently 5.5dp fet

This is my second transfer (frozen) after a failed fresh and failed iui. Last time started brown spotting at 6dpt

Any way last night was constipated and had to strain which brought on a small amount of blood red on wiping only a small amount seemed to stop after that. Google said could be sensitive cervix blood vessel but im loosing hope.

Trying not to test but wanted to see of anyone else had this with a positive outcome?

Hi, are you on progesterone support? Does your clinic check this?

Sorry for the TMI question but are you sure it came from the vagina and not the other place 👀. I get occasional bright red bleeding from constipation - including post transfer - and that’s where it comes from!

I’m 5 weeks + 1 today from a transfer which so far has worked. And I did get bright red blood from constipation during the TWW. It did worry me, but a thing that has been repeated to me throughout is if implantation could be disrupted so easily the human race wouldn’t exist. I did worry about where it had come from during but I’m pretty certain it wasn’t vaginal.

The thing I recommend as someone who has struggled with constipation for a long time is prune juice. I prefer it to movicol and the likes as it has no side effects (no bloating or nausea). Keep your fluids up and don’t try to force anything, it will arrive when it’s ready!

I would still let your clinic know just to see what they advise

Wishing you all the best xxx

Hey thanks for reply and congrats 😃

Yes defo from vagina I had a natural pregnancy some years ago and this was a problem for for the first few months until cervix went up high they put it down to a polyp. From googling it said may just be very sensitive cervix

My clinic have not been great at all they basically said could be implantation or breakthrough but unfortunately have to wait for bloods. Not very reassuring.

I had brown spotting on my previous transfer from 6dpt and that turned into my period. Im annoyed I didn't flag that for this one and ask them to increase progesterone although that's something they should of picked up on
