Fresh V FET

We have our first appt this week for our sibling round. It'll be my first FET. Is the FET experience similar to the fresh or do people tend to have different side effects? It's been 4 years since we last did the IVF, I'd be grateful if anyone think of some good questions we should ask/advice?

Are you doing a natural or medicated FET? I did a fresh transfer that didn't work and a natural FET which did. I found with the fresh one at least I didn't need to track ovulation it was just 5 (or is it 6) days after egg collection but I was more uncomfortable. The FET felt more simple medically but was a little bit stressful with lots of tracking scans and ovulation tests. All worth it of course!

Thank you for the reply. We're still deciding but think we'll do a medicated FET because last month I either messed up with the ovulation tracker or I didn't ovulate. That's lovely it worked, congratulations!
