Laparoscopic myomectomy - scared

I had an MRI for a fibroid and the results have shown that I'll probably need a Laparoscopic myomectomy (keyhole).

Can anyone who has had this procedure before tell me a little bit about it, please? How long were you in hospital for? How long was recovery?

It's just another bad result in a string of tests with consistently bad results and I'm a bit over it all today.

I stayed in overnight and was definitely sore for several days but it was bearable. Let me know if you have more specific questions. Where is your fibroid and what size is it?
