Advice on improving sperm motility after recent semen analysis results

Hello,

Me & my partner have been TTC for almost a year no. He had a semen analysis and it has come back with 10% Motility & high viscosity. Sperm count fine.

Obviously, these results aren't great. He has to go back in three months to test again. Has anyone got any advice on how to try increase motility that have actually worked in your situation? Or just any advice in general? TIA x

Hi we had similar results and were trying for 15 months and we now have a 15 month old! My partner took LOTS of vitamins! He took CoQ10, fenugreek, maca root, omega 3, Vit D, ashwaganda, L-carnatine and the wellman multi vitamin. Sending baby dust your way! X

Thank you! I have read online some supplements but I wanted the actual ones to get off someone who’s actually tried. So thanks again ☺️ x

Hey

My husband's test showed similar results last year. So for the past year he's been taking:

  • Zinc
  • Ubiquinol
  • L carnatine
  • Vit D

Diet wise recently introduced:

  • walnuts
  • pumpkin seeds

Consultant advised conception vit but when i did research i found alot of the doses were not optimal so decided to buy supplements seperately, it has been expensive, but tell myself so is having a child lol. We are currently undergoing ivf so will know on the egg retrieval day if the sperm quality has improved or not.

All the best
