Fyremedal

Hi,

I don’t know why but I forgot to take my first Fyremedal injection last night (day 6 stims). I’ve spoken to the clinic and they have said just to take first one tonight and they are scanning me tomorrow anyway.

I’m obviously really worried I’ve messed things up. Has anyone else done this and it was ok?

I did this and it was no problem. In fact it was my most successful cycle in terms of number of blasts. It's to stop you ovulating so you'll be fine so long as you don't ovulate abnormally early. I know how you feel though, I was so upset with myself.

You’re right I’m so upset with myself as I’m normally so organised with it but have just been feeling a bit rough since coming off the norethisterone about 10 days ago and starting the stims injections. I’m mixing in a growth hormone too so was remembering that and completely forgot about the Fyremedal last night. We have our first follicle scan tomorrow so will find out more then. Just going to try and keep myself distracted till then 😬.

@Teadrinker33 no but I was once dumb enough to inject a trigger on day 2. Fortunately my ovaries rolled their eyes and ignored.

At your cycle point you are low risk for an LH surge. Better to have done the error now than later.

Thanks @sirensong, from the reading I’ve done it seems this mistake is best at the start of the Fyremedal. Here’s hoping. I should know more by tomorrow afternoon at the scan.
