I wonder if anyone can help.
I have low AMH, short cervix, adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis. Always had painful but light periods. I did several rounds of IVF last year and a FET in October (which failed). I haven’t taken any hormones since then.
I have been trying to conceive although half heartedly as we have given up. Last month I had excruciating cramps (they vary month to month), was wrote off for the day and then didn’t really have a period. I had some pink spotting, some brown (apologies TMI) gritty discharge and one largish clot. Otherwise nothing. Spotting lasted 3 days.
I had a GP appointment to get referred for endo investigations as I can’t deal with the pain much longer and mentioned this during it. She followed up and was worried I was having an ectopic pregnancy due to also having some shoulder pain, but that was definitely MSK and has cleared. I wasn’t concerned and never convinced it was ectopic as I’ve never been pregnant in my 39 year's. All tests have been and continue to be negative.
I started my period today. Have been in agony all day, had one incidence of pink spotting and nothing more. Normally when I have pink spotting I then bleed and that’s the start of it. It’s looking very much like I’m not having a period again this month.
Has anyone experienced this? Is this the start of menopause? I have no idea what is going on and it is worrying me. My periods have always been light but not barely spotting for 2-3 days light. Something is up.
