I know there’s so many stories of different outcomes but I’m hoping for some positivity.

I have just had my forth transfer with our fifth embryo (1 double transfer). Sounds a silly question to ask really but did you feel it wasn’t going to happen for you after multiple failures to then see a positive test?

I’m trying to be so positive but I’m so anxious it’s not going to work again.

good luck to those currently going through it x

I can only sympathise. Testing negative 7dp5dt so considering self out. This is my third and final embryo. I’m heartbroken. A MMC, and two BFNs

Med9 · 03/03/2026 16:07

@PlanBFertility26 I’m so sorry. It’s so hard to deal with. This is our last embryo too. I really hope it’s just not showing for you yet but I know it’s tough when you see others getting early positives 🩷

Im sorry things have not worked for you so far. When I was trying for my so, it took a few embryos not specifically transferring and they not working but some not even making it past defrosting, he took 2 egg collections, 1 mc at 9 weeks , 2 embryos not surviving thaw and 3 more transfers and then the first trimester was rocky and iffy and thought we wernt going to make it. He is 4 now. Its very possible to finally get a positive test and have a viable pregnancy after so much failure. Ivf is such a tough road. My clinic says its about finding that right sticky embryo. Sort of like trying naturally. Sometimes it takes months to fall pregnant and sometimes it happens first go. I know its hard to stay hopeful when there is so much failure.

NiftyAmberLion · 04/03/2026 16:27

I really feel your pain! Also in the 2ww post FET - fourth transfer and previous 3 all negatives. Finding it really hard to have any hope it can work.

Med9 · 04/03/2026 16:49

@Miraclemuma03 sorry things have been so tough for you. Thank you for sharing your story. Really nice to know that you did eventually have your baby, although the road was rocky for you. It does make me feel more positive 🩷

@NiftyAmberLion wishing you luck 🍀 when did you have your transfer? Mine was Monday. I’m really trying to be positive but we’re 7 years in now and it just doesn’t get easier does it?! I do have my blood and thyroid under control now which were issues not previously picked up on so I’m praying this was the cause of previous failures 🤞🏼

@Med9 wishing you all the luck, love and sticky baby dust x

Med9 · 04/03/2026 20:27

@PlanBFertility26 thank you so much 🩷 sending you all the love. It’s cruel. Are you planning on doing another round? X

Mine was also Monday! My clinics test date isn’t till 14dpt though which is so long. My previous clinic was 9dpt then repeat at 11. I actually think I will try to wait though as I’ve tested early all the others and it’s horrible continuing meds when you know it hasn’t worked. That’s positive you’ve picked some things up and made changes! I’ve also changed some things. Wishing you all the luck!! Xx

Med9 · 04/03/2026 21:59

@NiftyAmberLion mine has said the same. I also think this is long. It’s hard isn’t it because you really want to test, but also don’t want to in case it’s not good news and you’re then out of your bubble of hope. Thank you. Good you’ve changed too. It’s one of the things that’s keeping me going. Wishing you lots of luck 🍀 🥰 xx

@Med9 honestly not sure yet. My heart is too broken.

Med9 · 05/03/2026 08:46

@PlanBFertility26 I’m so sorry. I wish you all the best with whatever road you go down when you’re ready. Look after yourself, it is such a cruel thing. Sending so much love 🩷

Also in tww, 4dp5dt today. Never known time go so slowly! First transfer and same sex relationship so will be the first time taking a pregnancy test and hoping for a positive.

Med9 · 05/03/2026 18:00

@Cakewalk7 wishing you the best of luck 🍀🥰 I know, the time drags!! I can’t think of anything else at the moment

Urgh I find it really hard when it gets to this point in the 2ww! The weekend has dragged. Just such a horrible limbo wanting to know the outcome but also wanting to stay in the bubble of hope! How about you?

Med9 · 09/03/2026 07:47

@NiftyAmberLion I know!! It’s so hard.
I have actually already caved and tested and (TW) for the first time in 7 years, I have a faint positive. I don’t know if it’s worth it sometimes because I still feel anxious that they’re so light.
Hope you’re feeling ok today

Feeling better than before the weekend. Am 8dp5dt today so end is in sight! And jam packed my weekend full of socialising so I didn’t have time to get into my head too much. Hope you’re all ok. Congrats on your faint positive @Med9 - keeping all fingers crossed for you

Med9 · 09/03/2026 08:58

@Cakewalk7 you’re a day ahead of me. It’s good you’ve been keeping yourself busy. One thing I failed to do!!
thank you. I’m being very cautious as I’m aware it’s still early. Wishing you all the luck 🍀 when have your clinic advised you to test?

That’s so exciting though! I wouldn’t worry about it being light it’s very early. Really hoping for the best for you! What things did you change this round?

Cakewalk7 · 09/03/2026 12:14

They have said Thursday but I have the day off on Wednesday so figured that was a good day! First transfer for us so not had the negative test before. Am scared!

Med9 · 09/03/2026 12:55

@NiftyAmberLionThank you. I’m cautious but happy, at the moment at least!
I pushed for further testing because I had multiple failed transfers and they just couldn’t explain why. I ended up having underactive thyroid (now medicated and under control) and sticky blood (on clexane and asprin this cycle) so it could well be one or both of those. Did you change anything this time? Fingers crossed for you!

@Cakewalk7 that’s good. I really hope it works out for you 🤞🏼good luck 🍀

I had surgery for endometriosis. Also did ICSI and zymot in case it was an issue with the embryos although 2 of my fails were PGTA tested. First medicated transfer too, others were fresh or natural modified.

Med9 · 09/03/2026 15:11

@NiftyAmberLion I hope the changes this time will be positive for you 🤞🏼🍀
