I tested today using a first response pregnancy test (sensitivity 6.5) it was stark white. I feel hopeless. Since 2dp5dt I’ve had weird cramps, my boobs are super heavy and I have been grumpy. I thought I’d at least see something.

My son, I tested positive at 4dp5dt which was also. FET. Second which I had to TFMR I tested at 5dp5dt with a questionable line and very clearly 6dp5dt. Now I’m beginning to think all of my symptoms are due to the x3 cyclogest im on daily and the one Lubion injection. Progesterone is really the Loki of drugs.

Any advice would be great. Also, if you tested later and got a positive which you think would have been negative at this stage, was it with a First Response?

@PeacockMonster I’m so sorry you’re feeling hopeless, the tww is so awful to go through. I think 5dp is still super early, there is still every chance it could still turn positive. I’ve recently had my first ever positive, I tested on day 8 (not before) and it was super faint, so faint we actually thought it was negative at first and started crying, until we looked more closely and realised there was a shadow of a second line. This was on a test with a sensitivity of 10. I definitely don’t think it would have showed up the day before on day 7, and certainly not on day 5 or 6.

It could just be that your embryo is taking its time to implant, every embryo is different so even though you got such an early positive with your son it doesn’t mean you’re out yet. I’m also really sorry to hear you had to TFMR, that must have have been heartbreaking ❤️

I’ve got my fingers crossed for you that your tests start to turn positive in the next few days ❤️

@Sunnydaysahead1 Thank you. I think because the sensitivity is 6.3 a viable pregnancy would have been detected at this stage. I’m just going to look forward to the next cycle.

All the best.

It could just be too early. Each embryo implants at different times and stages, some early and some later. With a frozen embryo it can start to implant on day 2 or anywhere up to days 5 but most its day 3 which means you wont get a slight positive test until up to 8dp5dt so your not out yet.. When I was pregnant with my son I had a 3 day fresh transfer and I got stark negatives all the way up to 9dp3dt which is equivalent to 7dp5dt and my line was very faint though it did progress well but my beta was classed as low at 94 but that little boy is now a very cheeky 4 yr old toddlersaures giving me grief every chance he gets hahha also want to mention that "pregnancy" symptoms is also a side effect of progesterone and the higher the amount the more side effect there are. I hope though for you , you get your positive.

@Miraclemuma03 Thank you for your comforting words. Did you test with a first response? I find as the sensitive is 6.3 it’ll be picked up much sooner than 8dp5dt.

I should have updated that in 6dp5dt and got a BFN on a first response 😅

Yes I only ever use first response. And they dont always pick up hcg under 20 even if they say it.. I had a chemical pregnancy which was picked up on blood test but negative on frer . Hcg was 16 on day 12pt but negative on a hpt the same day
