March FET 2026

I thought I’d add a March thread coming over from my February 2026 thread as my transfer was cancelled for this month due to a collapsed follicle or cyst in my ovary 🙄

We’re doing ICSI due to severe MFI. We are doing our third transfer next month (beginning of March) after a failed fresh and chemical from a FET. This is also our last embryo before having to start allllll over again 🫠 this time I’m doing a modified natural (adding in a trigger), adding in clexane and the same as last time having Lubion and Cyclogest.

Im due my period this weekend and will then have a scan on CD3/4 to check if the follicle/cyst has gone 🤞🏻

I'm going in for my second FET on Wednesday. My first resulted in a MMC sometime around 8 weeks and it's safe to say I'm terrified. I was so, so worried about something going wrong the first time (it was my first pregnancy) so it's hard not to feel like I "thought the baby away"!

Ok so I am shook. Failed transfer last month. Period due tomorrow, went the toilet as you do and thought il take a test. It’s positive, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a positive. Says 1-2 weeks. We have been trying for so many years and with starting IVF and not succeeding last month, can this even happen?

Did you do egg retrival last month? Same thing happened to me after my failed fresh transfer, and I wondered if the stimulation had woken my ovaries up or something!

Mine sadly ended in a loss but, yes, it absolutely can happen!

Yes egg collection first week of Feb, I think that’s why I am just like what? After so many years without anything has it shaken up the ovaries. I am so shocked to ever see a positive but things can change so easily, so sorry for your loss. It’s a step closer to see the positive is all I can think right now. Thankyou x

Congratulations @OneGladOtter! Keeping my fingers crossed! I have heard a couple of similar stories so maybe there is something to the whole waking the ovaries up thing! 😄

Hello... 9dp5dt today and I'm still testing positive but I don't feel particularly hopeful still as the progression seems poor/too light. Obv nothing I can do either way but wait it out. I hope everyone else keeps has some good news?

Hi ! I'm suposed to have a FET this cycle. I'm on day 6 of my cycle and my first appointment is at day 15. I usually ovulate on day 15-16, is it ok to have the first appointment this late ? I'm on Estradiol and Aspirin. Thanks :)

You won't ovulate on estradiol. I had my scan day 15 too and then started progesterone the following day, transfer 5 days after :)

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me joining 👋🏼

Had my egg retrieval back in December and did a freeze all cycle to conduct PGTA on the 5 embryos we got, due to recurrent miscarriage. Had my embryo transfer last Wednesday (18/03) so am now at 7DP5DT.

I did a test on 3DP5DT which was faintly positive, so just assumed it was the trigger still in my system (which I’d had 10 days before at that stage). The tests briefly got lighter the next day but now they’re slightly getting darker (although it’s hard to say), but def not going away. Possibly a faint positive? I told my husband we’d “officially” test on Saturday (10DP5DT) so I won’t believe it until then but honestly it’s just hard. I’m gonna do another test this morning as I’m now 14 days past my trigger (my HCG shows up better mid morning) to see if they’re getting darker or lighter so very much in limbo.

How is everyone doing? Wishing everyone the best as think others were having the blood tests around the same time as me - I had my second today after what I’m thinking of as a tentative positive on Monday. Just really hoping this is it - hoping for good news from others x

I had my blood test today and it came back positive too. We’re so happy!

@Wildflower9 - ah I’m so pleased for you. they called back this afternoon (talk about a watched phone never rings…!) and still positive, levels look to have doubled since Monday so fingers crossed that’s a good sign. Still a long way to go so trying not to get ahead of myself! x

Hi guys. All good here. 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant on our 4th frozen transfer. We had some bleeding last week at 6w3d - we had a scan that confirmed baby in the right place and heartbeat. Still feeling anxious and fingers are crossed tightly. How are you getting on?

I have my cycle review tomorrow to discuss the protocol for the next round. I've also finally started bleeding which feels very delayed as my tests faded to negative a week ago now, but I think that must be the progesterone half life.

I'll be going again for a May transfer (my next cycle after this one that's just started) and eager to get the plan for it locked into place. Heavily considering a double transfer next time and I want to ask about adding a few bits to the drug regime too. I really want this next one to be the one - after a fresh failure, natural conception miscarriage and now FET chemical since the start of the year I am so ready for my time to come ❤️

Started Estradiol 13 days ago, had my appointment today and my endo is 9.5mm so in 2 days i'll start progesterone for a transfer on April 8. This is will be my first transfert, and i chose to try the IM progesterone first. Any one of you self injected IM progesterone ?

I’m in a very similar situation as you, follow up is next Thursday but not sure if they will skip the next cycle and won’t start me till May, how did you get on with your follow up?

Had it yesterday, because I'd have to start medication on CD2 (and yesterday was CD2) it will be with my next cycle.

We are sticking with fully medicated, ovamex CD2-7, Estradiol 3 X daily from CD2 onwards, cyclogest 3 x daily plus lubion 1 every three days.

That's the same protocol as last time. Then we are also adding baby aspirin from 2 days prior to transfer, and a daily blood thinner injection.

I pushed for a double transfer but the consultant feels it is too high risk to transfer a double containing any A grades. I can't personally imagine ever winding up pregnant with twins, being pregnant out of the first trimester with one baby seems to be an impossible task. But I suppose I will have to accept it for now!

I really hope this will be enough.

Hi!! I am a day ahead of you transferring on the 7th!
I have done IM progesterone before and am doing it on this cycle too - the thought of it is worse than the reality I think - though they aren’t pleasant but you get used to them fairly quickly!
I am doing a combination of the pessaries and the IM - doing a FET cycle .. wishing everyone good luck in their 2ww or upcoming transfers!
