Second FET with euploid unsuccessful

Hi

Just found out my second FET with euploid embryo has failed. I have been doing IVF for years and these latest rounds were to try for a second child. I am already on an immune protocol and everything else looks good. I am not sure whether to some tests for the uterine environment or try again with another embryo? It is so hard to judge as you never know what will make actually make a difference. Now feel like the immune protocol I used to have my first child was probably a fluke and it wasn't actual the thing that was wrong and explained my infertility. Feeling confused and deflated by it all.

Hi, so sorry about your failed FETs. I had a failed one with a euploid on a fully medicated FET. For the next one, I changed to natural modified, added in Fragmin / blood thinners. I also had a hysteroscopy between transfers. Second one worked and I’m now 16 weeks xx

This is really tough as the most likely explanation for euploids not working is still embryonic factors, not environmental. You could ask about antibiotics if you haven't already looked into endometritis but it is probably just a numbers game like if you were tossing a coin. Eventually you're going to get a heads.

I think you're right. My logical brain says it's a numbers game but my emotions are getting the better of me. I am sure we will get there eventually x

Hi @Katty123 I also had lots of IVF treatment for DC1 and in case it's relevant, when trying for a sibling one possible reason I was given for failed FETs was a niche in my C-section scar, visible on ultrasound (called isthmocele). I've had a repair done and will see how it goes so no success story to share for now.
