Endo surgery and periods

Due to infertility and recurrent miscarriages. I had a lap done 11 days ago which found Endo on both sides of the pelvis and the pouch of Douglas. This was removed. I started my period yesterday only 10 days after surgery. I had bad cramps but have had very little bleeding. Is this normal as was expecting to have a really heavy first period?

i had a lap 4 weeks ago for stage 4 endo - I think my period has started today but it’s very light! But I didn’t get any of the usual awful pms symptoms I usually do so I’m already seeing huge improvements. I only just discovered endometriosis was the cause to my infertility - and we’d already been through IVF!
