Hi ladies . Wanted to know if anyone has been to create in bury for mild ivf or natural modified ivf with low amh ?i’m 36 My amh is 2.65 last checked in July. Ttc 3rd for 5 years not a hint of bfp . Only have a 2 day period whereas before my 2nd had a normal 7 day .

i’m ready to go ahead. Have scan tomorrow then initial virtual consultation in 2 weeks . Please someone tell me what they do at the scan and consultation ? Does consultant talk about pricing or is it more which treatment plan and the admin call back for payment ?

i’m thinking mild ivf to get atleast more than 1 egg if i’m lucky and With the 3 cycle package to bank embryos . How did you guys find this?
I ‘m so nervous and scared by it all but i know i’ll always regret if i didn’t try xx

I would bother with create. I did my first 2 cycles with them and they were a complete bust. You need to try to get as many eggs as possible and create will just give you a standard low dose.
my Amh is low. I went to Manchester fertility and ended up with 10 eggs. 6 fertilised and 3 ended up as blasts. I 100 prevent recommend Manchester fertility.. even if my treatment doesn't work I feel that they have done their best. The after care from create was awful as well and just felt like they were after money!

good luck xx

Oh gosh ! Im doubting now ! Read so many good reviews about them . Isn’t it better to use lower dose for low amh quantity over quality . Did you not get any eggs at all ? And if that happens do they refund a percentage back as you can’t freeze it like the 3 cycle package includes. And won’t they up the dose on 2nd cycle? Heard good things about dr tamer nafee?

That's what create maintain but I don't believe it is the case. I got half the eggs with them and never got a blastocyst, so their theory that low dose stims means better quality eggs is a load of rubbish- in my opinion. The fertilisation was poor as well and they used icis on my 2nd round (it was the worst round of he lot).. I got 5 eggs and 1 fertilised- didn't even last 3 days.

In saying that, they have worked for others.. they were just really poor in my experience and I wish I'd never gone with them because I needed max dose from the start.

Manchester fertility also work with access fertility, so treatment cost £11000 for 2 cycles and that included all medication and transfers xxx

5.2.. that was 2 years ago so not sure what it is now. My last treatment was in sept x

I went with create it was awful, you have to call like a call centre to get any information from your team, it’s like leave a message and they will get someone to email you back at some point, the did the low dose with me saying it will be better I got 2 very low quality 3 day embryos that they convince we should go in on day 3 they then froze my extremely poor quality embryo saying it was fine both fully failed , there was no real after care they just said same protocol again it’s trial and error for 9k
you are basically just a number there is no personal touch no nothing they then charred me for a copy of my records and treatment. And it took months to get it, for a different ivf dr to look and go wow they really shouldn’t have transferred there as they were barely formed

aLogLady · 30/01/2026 06:56

hey op, I’ve had a different experience than the other posters but I don’t like the way Mumsnet shares threads on Facebook for clickbait so I’m gonna DM you with the details if it’s helpful.

waitingforourmiracle · 30/01/2026 12:43

If you are going private I would 100% say Manchester Fertility (saying that as they don't accept NHS patients) I didn't have an issue with AMH but with Create I got 1 embryo from 21 eggs with Manchester Fertility I got 10 embryos from 20 eggs. The staff and care I can't complain about Create as everyone was always really friendly and they did get back to me when I needed them it was obviously just a big difference in results x

OneQuirkyPanda · 30/01/2026 13:32

We used their sister company ABC (same staff, facilities and clinic) and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

We did reciprocal IVF, my wife has a really good AMH (25) and AFC (35) so we were told we qualified for going with ABC and it would be lower cost and lower meds, but higher quality eggs. Unfortunately, we now realise she was not responding very well to the medication (only a small number of follicles in target range, huge variation in size) and they made no changes at all, they didn’t tell us this or give us any information until the day of egg collection when they told us they expect to only get 5-8 eggs, which was quite the shock considering her AMH and AFC.

We were assured fewer eggs means higher quality, but this was not the case at all. They got 8, and we ended up with only one very poor quality day 6 blast which resulted in an early chemical. This was after four cancelled cycles for various reasons, so our “low cost mild IVF” ended up costing as much as a standard round.

They didn’t want to make any changes at all to the protocol and insisted the round went well and we just have to keep trying. We weren’t happy so changed clinics, we went with Care and the different was night and day. Completely different protocol tailored to us both, medication was adjusted after scans, we got 11 eggs and 3 top quality day 5 blasts and I’m now 9 weeks pregnant from our first transfer with them. All in all it cost the same amount of money as with ABC.

I think some people are lucky and the low medication suits them, but most people benefit from higher doses as the more eggs you have the higher your chances of success.

@Lochside28

do what is best for you, every patient is different and what may work for one person may not work for another. Also each Dr will have their own thoughts based on the research they follow-ultimately IVF is an evolving science.

Personally natural modified and mild IVF worked for me through Create. The initial NHS Cycle I had at a different clinic was high stims and over matured the 1 egg it produced. Over 3 cycles with Create I got 14 eggs and 8 embryos for freezing, then 3 FETs with 4 embryos (last one was a double FET) which led to me giving birth to our DC. I was 38 at time of ECs which were pretty much back to back (my choice). My amh was around 6.

Yes the call centre is not great, but I was in the clinic regularly enough to build a rapport with the Dr's, Nurses and Receptionist and over time I got a direct email for the nurses for any medical queries. Patient Coordinator needed micromanaging but I managed that ok.

I did overhaul my diet (Mediterranean diet low carbs/ high protein) and lifestyle and was an advocate for myself asking questions constantly to be reassured I was in agreement with each step being proposed. Did any of this make a difference? Not sure but it made me feel I was doing something proactive and I needed that.

Ultimately it's up to you and you've got to do what you feel is best-as I said every patient is different.

Goodluck

MocktailMe · 31/01/2026 13:34

Please check the packages carefully. I'm doing a 4 cycle package with Access (which luckily I think I hopefully won't need all 4 egg retrivals as the first was a good round) but the rules are you must transfer all embryos before progressing to the next egg collection. So you can't bank.

There is a create semi near me but the reviews were poor so I went with a different clinic that accepts access. Many do, so have a look around.

Lochside28 · 31/01/2026 15:43

Create don’t do refund package with access fertility unfortunately. I did have baseline scan yesterday and had 6 follicles in total which correlates to my amh of 2.6 its closest to me aswell being in bury and just collection and transfer in wimslow which is easier as would have to work around lkids schools etc . I think i’ll do the first cycle see how that goes . Wish me luck guys x

My wife has Low ovarian reserve 4.4 I think for our 1st IVF. 3 eggs retrieved only 1 egg viable, he's now 4 years old and his brother who is 1 year old was even lower at 2.3 or something reserve. One egg out of 5 viable. He's 1 now. Only one failed attempt before our last little boy. 3 eggs one viable but failed to implant. Was a slow developer and perhaps we should of waited a cycle and frozen that one but had that not happened we wouldn't of had out last boy. All create Manchester who are fabulous, at the Wilmslow sight. Will vote for Quality over quantity all day long.

It’s a very personal journey and no two experiences are the same

for me very low dose Create ethos gave me twins with other top quality embryos still in the freezer following multiple losses and failed transfers as well as PGTA testing that garnered no normal embryos ….

Out of interest, did you have low Amh?

Lochside28 · 07/02/2026 12:50

Hi my amh is 2.6 they only saw 6 follicles . Did you do fresh transfer on day 3 ? Or was it all frozen embryo transfers at day 3/5? Im anxious if il even get any embryos but same time i would be scared to wait day 5 incase none made it . So will push for day 3 transfer if theres any

OP posts:
aLogLady · 07/02/2026 13:16

I actually think it’s worth waiting for day 5 as then you’ll know if you’re making blastocysts. I came to feel that it’s better to have more information. The clinic were murky when I asked about whether a day three that wouldn’t have survived in the lab could survive instead in the uterus (the idea goes that it’s the best environment for them) but I suppose how would they ever collect data on that, as you can’t test the same embryo twice. It’s all just my opinion based on my experience, but just wanted to say so you could consider that factor

BeZanyBrickOrca · 07/02/2026 14:35

Day 3 for both boys and the failed one waited for day 5 as was a slow developer but they never took

tirednessbecomesme · 08/02/2026 20:08

@Mrsblobby88
not that low AMH - age 35 it was circa 12.9 I recall which was only slightly lower than average for my age

ApplePie279 · 09/02/2026 19:55

Hi @Sunflower360 - Do you mind sharing what meds / dosage you stimmed on for natural modified and mild, please? I want to see if my doctor is willing to try something different. Many thanks x

Scarlett868 · 13/02/2026 07:12

@Lochside28 Hi - I had a good experience with Create and have 2 lovely little boys because of them.
I started in 2022 with a 3 cycle package with and AMH of 6 and afc of 8 with mild endo and adeno.
my cycles were:
1 - 6 eggs = 1 blast and 1 embryo
2 - 4 eggs = 1 embryo
3 - 2 eggs = 1 blast and 1 embryo - this was transferred fresh and is now my almost 3 year old 💙.
My frozen embryo transferred last year is now.7 weeks old.
Create did tailor and adjust the meds as my cycles went along. Yes the admin side is a little annoying but I found the medical side to be really great and cant fault them.
Wishing you lots of luck xxxx

Sunflower360 · 14/02/2026 22:59

@ApplePie279I was on 150 Gonal F on natural mod for a shorter duration then mild for a few days longer. I recall on the odd day at the tail end of a cycle or two it was increased slightly to give the follicles a bit more of a push but generally it was a slow and steady approach

Lochside28 · 31/03/2026 10:21

Hi guys ive decided to go with antalya ivf now - in turkey . The reviews are high success rates and much cheaper . Did alot of research . They do icsi as standard and free transfer and accomodation . It is better option for my low amh x
