Hi. Just after some recommendations for bed time reading/listening (audiobook), not so much to take my mind off the process but to guide me through it and reassure.
Im hoping to start the first round of meds this week - just waiting for screening results and AF to arrive - so anything useful you’ve read that you can recommend I’m interested. I am lucky to already have a child but after trying for number 2 over 18 months and seeing my odds now I’m in late 30s we have decided to finally go for it.
I took a test this morning on the very small chance that we wouldn’t have to go through this but as the odds are against us now, it was negative as expected.

Hi, there's a book called Big Fat Negative by Emma Haslett and Gabby Griffith, they also have a podcast called BFN which is a great listen. If you put Infertility or IVF into your spotify or other podcast apps you'll also find loads where people share their stories and you end up learning a lot that way, I like Infertile AF, IVF BFF, IVF Real Talk, For Trying Out Loud, good luck!!!

Thank you. I’ve seen a couple of those pop up in google searches and good to know they come recommended.
I’ll try the BFN podcast too. Good recommendation, thank you.

I really like the IVF BFF podcast.

I think we're about the same stage. Got an appt tomorrow to start down reg.

I have listened to so many podcasts and read 'It starts with the egg' and done endless online research. Actually now, at the point of almost starting, I find myself stepping back from that all 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was getting quite obsessed so probably a good thing!

It starts with the Egg is a good one and then the fertility network podcasts are good and cover lots of good/relevant topics. They also have a good instagram. Good luck with your journey x
