IVF cancelled due to low response

On my 12th day scan of stimming, I was given the option to cancel and restart next cycle as there wasn't much growth. I had 7 follicles, mostly small clusters but one 16mm and with my AMH being 26.5 and PCOS nurse thought I could do better with stsrting at higher dose. My lining was 14mm at my last scan. I was told to stop all meds and ovulate naturally without trigger shot, it's been 7days and according to my bbt I haven't ovulated yet.

Did anyone else experience a long cycle after cancelling? I'm eager for the period to arrive so I can restart.

Yes, iv had a cancelled cycle and my period was prolonged but did eventually get my period. It was 10 days late. Sorry your cycle didnt go to plan, but the good news is that not every cycle is the same and you could have a much better outcome second time around.

Day 5 on stims.. I started bleeding heavily, lasted a couple of days and was over then my actual period was 10 days late. Not sure what happened. Iv also had 6 cancelled cycles before actually starting stims for the same reason .

How soon after stopping stimming did you bleed heavy? It’s now been 9 days since I stopped stimming, and I’ve been tracking my BBT because now is usually around the time I’d ovulate in a normal cycle.
My temperatures are a bit all over the place, so I can’t tell if ovulation has actually happened but over the last couple of days I’ve also noticed very light spotting only when wiping – pale pink and mixed with mucus. I’m confused because I didn’t think it would be possible to ovulate, then bleed, within just 9 days of stopping stimulation.

I stopped the meds because of the bleeding. After stopping stims especially mid cycle it can mess with our regular cycles. If you havnt had a period in the next couple of days then id ring the clinic but with the spotting and discharge it sounds like you will have a period soon. Especially if your body had a struggle to ovulate on its own, this will reflect when your next cycle will start.

Tomorrow is my day 12 scan and I think this cycle will be canceled (or change for a IUI). Of the 5 growing follicules only 1 was big enough on day 10. I was on Androgel for a month + Estrace. For the stims i'm already on max Gonal F and Luveris (450 and 225 UI). She's not really hopefull next cycle will be better since i'm already on max dose, but it might have a chance of having more follicles (or less 🙄).

So following my last post 22/01 , I continued spotting for a week, and then notihng until a week ago spotting again but only for 1day this time. I have no idea whats going on and the clinic dont seem to either, they just keep saying it can take a while for the period to get going. If im measuring from my last period im now cycle day53, and if i measure from the day i came off stimms (perhaps my hormones collapsed back down and perhaps the cycle restarted as day1 from the day I came off stims), im on cycle day 39, I still should have a had period by now! Can't help but feel annoyed at why I wasn't given a trigger shot to confirm ovulation, atleast that way we could have saved time and moved onto next cycle sooner.

Is there anything I can try or do to speed up this cycle??

I don't know how it works so not sure if it could help you, but a few times my clinic advised me to take progesterone for 5 days to induce a bleed. But I guess it might not be a proper period. Hope it happens for you soon. I had a lot of treatment and on canceled cycles sometimes it took ag s and sometimes shocked me really quickly.
